Pregame Predictions!

I will try to be as discreet as possible with aliases but at the same time making sure to get what I would assume to be a decent assessment of the cast. Unlike last season I know a majority of the players in the game so hopefully (possibly) I could get better results. Who knows!

Not a really good plan to have! I am not really 100% sure what was going through his head when he decided to play this role. Granted I have done the same thing (though I attempted to be a non stupid Spanish speaking person). I will be really surprised if he survives long enough to make the merge.





I'm going to be a REAL bitch though,

Not really sure about Alicia. Reminds me a lot of Tijuana last season. Don't get me wrong I loved Ti but she was kind of underwhelming for all the hype. I am hoping Alicia lives up to the hype but I have reason to doubt.





I think with that kind of social game, I can set some devious plans in motion down the line!

Allie is a very dangerous player. The issue is people are picking up on it already. She is social to a fault and if people determine that everyone is active and threats need to go she could be in trouble. On the flip side she could charm the pants off of everyone and be in a great position in the game. Only time will tell.





Trustworthy and loyal. I miss maintaining that through games and want to get back to that

Ashley is a really loyal player, one of the more loyal players I have come across in the games. At times she appears as a follower but I have seen first hand how much of a butt kicker she actually is. I could see her going far if she doesn't make her allies obvious and is loyal to her main allies but also plays devious and makes fake alliances.





I'm funny, entertaining, and I know how to woo people to my side.*

Brenda is in a bad spot early because she showed up late. With the tribe pick em this puts her at an even worse spot as people have already been talking quite a bit. I am not sure I can see her recovering but I would not count her out just yet.






I hope to be the puppet master, that's what I always hope for.

Chris is a pretty strong player when he puts in the effort. He claims he is putting in effort so he is one to watch. Contrary to popular believe he is actually a pretty loyal person if he has a strong alliance. His relationship with Zane is one of the most interesting parts of the game. I think he should make it really far and more than likely outlast his brother.





I'm going to start off as this happy go lucky dude who everyone wants to chill with. That way I can get a feel for things, and then decide where to take my game.

Eddie is a really good player. While he probably isn't super well known to a lot of the others, he has a persona for being a great player. This could hurt him if his alias is figured out. I think Eddie is going to be one of the better players in this game but could end up being too big a threat going into the merge and ending up like Jay did last season.





except me to kick ass

I am not sure how much of this character will translate into aim but despite being hilarious I do not believe it will be successful. In a game like this if people don't want to make the big move early people like Heidi and Alex are easy targets to be voted off first. I hope this isn't the case but I don't see her lasting long.

Looks like the preteen girl texting schtick won't last! Oh well it was fun, but gives he a better chance in the game!






I stand for playing a somewhat heroic game.

Jeff is a dark horse to win for me. I do not really know how he is going to play the game. Him and Pete seem to be getting along and I think he is a lot better player than he is going to let on. I think he could win in a similar fashion as Jonas last season. Letting all the threats expose themselves and take each other out and be the last one standing unscathed.

Julia is doing a great job playing Julia so far. Being invisible! I am not sure if this is how she plans to play the game or if she is just busy because from what I have seen in the past she can be a really dominant player. I have no idea where to place Julia and she is a wildcard for me. I think her social game is her biggest strength and she could ride it deep in the game if she doesn't wait too long to get it going.






I am also pretty blunt and offensive in my confessionals, so if that's something you like I am your guy!*

One of the few people I can talk about because they aren't alias! Keith and I played Survivor Bonin Islands last summer and he is someone I would consider a realistic survivor player. He's not over the top strategic or dominates every challenge but he has a strong social game and plays the game one week at a time. Someone I also consider a realistic survivor player is Brett, two time winner. Needless to say I have high expectations for this guy.







Depends on what the other castmates are like, sir! A black cat is black in a sea of green cats, but a cat in a sea of oranges.

I can already tell I am going to like this guy! Not quite over the top as Tarzan but his subtlety and just a tad bit oddity will make him entertaining but also dangerous. As for actual gameplay I have no idea if he is actually good or not but I am excited to see if he can play well and make it deep into the game. I think as long as he doesn't try to be too overbearing he should make it into the middle portion of the game.






I'll be really loyal... imagine the real Laura and how you think she'd play

I think Laura might have issues socially. She is a really nice person but can be challenging to talk to at times. Plus we have a lot of characters which complicates things. I don't see Laura having that big of an impact in the game. She will either try to be strategic and leave early or play under the radar and make it far but not really have much sway one way or another.






I am a firm believer in something Charles Darwin once said. "It's not the strongest or the smartest that survive, it's the one who is most adaptable".

Pete is honestly one of my favorites. I was hesitant to cast the guy because he seemed to not be a huge advocate of AIM but I am happy I did as he has been active on AIM and really seems to be a strong and smart player. Pete is up there with Jeff as someone I could see being a less of a visible threat but more of a threat to win.






I haven't been the most active player recently, so I want to try and wipe the floor with this competition to let people know that I am back!

For those who did not follow season 2, Shii Ann is Karikylevi. She was never really a huge player but is an opinionated player who is not afraid to make big moves. I have seen her play well, and seen her fall on her face. This is a very skilled cast and she is going to have to be on her A game if she wants to make it far. I think she might be too rusty to survive early on.






I wanna portray it as The Fighter and the likable social player.

Very similar to Allie. Think her social game will be her strong suit. I think she has a less chance of being labeled a threat as Allie has been mentioned as being very social by multiple people thus far. I also think she has a better chance of being successfully in a lot of people's good books and I could see Sierra making it very far in this game.






Sheer whimsy, and nothing more.

Tarzan is probably going to end up being the greatest character in CbSurvivor history. There have only been a few so far: Rocky and Chet are the only two that come to mind (unless you count Rory's impression of a faux Rory) and Tarzan is already exceeding them. As for actually winning the game that may be a different story. His activity may allow him to survive for a bit but people are going to get tired of him, and quick.






I chose to be Zane be cause he was a big goofball and Im good at acting like that.

Zane is an up and coming ORGer who is best known for his likability. He is working on his actual strategic and challenge skills but is slowly getting better at them. I am thinking that Zane will try to ride under his brother's wings for the time being and may try to make a move against him later on which would be his undoing. I could see Zane making it far as long as he isn't too big of a challenge liability.

My Pre-game Assessments

*Disclaimer: These assessments were done purely on my personal opinion of the cast based on answers to pre-game questions, interactions with other players as posted in confessionals, and confessionals written thus far in the game. I have also used references from Tarot Cards to sum up my input on a person below each picture. These opinions do not affect the final outcome of the game.*




"The Fool"

If Alex wants to play as a latino schmuck, then he would really need to commit to it. He may appear to be trying to hard judging from his conversations with Allie and Sierra. Sierra wasn't even entertaining him much.

He is labeled "The Fool" due to his self-portrayal. He may want to appear to be someone who poses no threat, but if he doesn't lock in his alliance pretty early in the game, he will probably be the first few to leave for being seen as an easy target. But personally, I would love to see him go a little further into the game.




"Queen of Swords"

There is the bitch bitch, and there is the fun bitch. I think that Alicia is capable of becoming a fun bitch if she gets the attention and teams up with someone like-minded like Chris. If she is capable of securing an early alliance with a mastermind/puppet-master who thinks ahead into an end-game situation, Alicia would be the best ally to have since she is most likely the least likeable further down the line.

The "Queen of Swords" would be a good fit for Alicia as she seems like someone who has gone through certain tough situations in life and her witty and often sharp comments may have been influenced by her past experiences.




"The Lovers"

Allie is probably the most sociable player in this game. This may come back and bite her in the end if she isn't careful. What we have here is a really active and charasmatic group of players. I would say that almost everybody is playing to win. If Allie keeps this up, she will get into trouble for singling herself out as a jury-threat and leave right before or at the merge. Unfortunately she is being excessively sociable early on. If I was in a game with her, I would vote her off at the first sensible opportunity. The fact that many other players have noted her strategy is not a good thing.

She is "The Lovers" because she seems to be all about "love" as well as a rather emotional and sensitive person. She will probably get herself into too many commitments and labeled a traitor by many if she gets further. On top of that, I'm not sure if her allies will truly trust her just because she socialises a lot and it may raise concerns over where her loyalty lies.




"The Temperance"

Ashley is lucky to be playing this game with Allie, I suppose. The fact that I forgot about Ashley and got her mixed up with Allie proves that she may be able to play under the radar and yet be sociable at the same time. As I have mentioned earlier, Allie is probably the most sociable player right now, and that takes a huge target off Ashley's back.

"The Temperance" reflects Ashley's gentler approach to a social-strategy as compared to Allie. She may not be the most vocal, but I can see her as someone you can get comfortable with chatting as she seems loyal, grounded and less flashy. I personally think that she could go far in this game.




"The Wheel of Fortune"

From past experience, Brenda isn't the most active player on the block. Her strategy to lay low and stay somewhat likeable would be an advantage in a game filled with stronger and more assertive players. So, it comes down to the puppet-master to actually identify her as a threat and taking moves to eliminate her before she becomes a jury-threat at the Final Tribal Council.

I selected "The Wheel of Fortune" for Brenda because she may be in the best position should twists involving tribal swaps take place. She will be able to benefit from sudden changes in games due to the lay low strategy, where the target will probably fall on her allies. She also appears to be someone on the outs of the group, which could turn into a strategical advantage should tribal swaps or a battle of alliances take place. However, her activity is questionable and she may become a liability to her tribe early on.




"King of Wands"

Right off the bat, Chris seems likes someone who is likely to be in control of an alliance. He does seem to have a nice combination of good social skills and the ability to strategize well. It will be his task to convince his alliance that he is not a threat and to stay true to him come the merge when they will be looking at blindsiding and taking out the leaders.

I have chosen the "King of Wands" for Chris for his charasmatic persona and his ability to read people and situations. He appears like someone who would be loyal to you and have your interest at heart as long as you stay loyal to him. He also seems like someone who needs certain control over the game. I am actually extremely entertained by Chris and he definitely stands out as one of the front-runners in this game.




"The Magician"

To me, Eddie looks like someone who would challenge for leadership later in the game. He appears to be a smart guy and I could see him emerging as a "Todd" of this game. He seems likable enough to survive the initial stages, but not enough to draw a target behind his back.

I actually have chosen "The Magician" for Chris, but I thought that it fits Eddie better. I think that Eddie's gameplay allow him to be a lot more flexible than Chris's, and he will have more room for manipulation whereas Chris may be under certain amount of scrutinity. Eddie seems a little more cunning than Chris would be, and in a game full of big players, it may be a good quality to have. But I don't think he will be a popular choice with the jury just because he may have to blatantly lie to and backstab a couple of them in order to reach the end of the game.




"The Tower"

I'm somewhat at a loss when it comes to Heidi. Definitely one of my top picks for the first few to go. She may think that it's cute to type the way she did, but I don't think anyone else will buy it.

"The Tower" would probably be the best card to describe Heidi as the ground under her feet is shrinking fast with the team picks and all. If she doesn't make herself more relevant to her tribemates, she will be in an extremely undesirable position.




"Page of Swords"

Jeff is likeable and charming to a certain extent. I guess we are seeing an extraordinary amount of social players this time around. I am expecting Jeff's role to change quite considerably as the game progresses. His situation is rather similar to Eddie, but I personally think that Eddie will be slightly well-liked compared to Jeff.

The "Page of Swords" reflects Jeff's eargerness in terms of observation and subtlety. He may be a better "spy" as compared to Eddie whom might draw a little too much attention. I could see him spying on alliances, figuring out the key players and making moves to take them out.




"The Moon"

Julia is probably a mystery to everyone at this stage of the game, and seems to be a sure bet to be "last-picked" and "voted out first". One could argue that she is playing a classical Under the Radar game, since she does check into the board rather often, but I doubt her activity or herself will last in this game.

"The Moon" symbolises a hidden threat, but right now she seems like the least active person aside from Shii Ann and Keith. Peculiarly, Chris and Allie have said good things about Julia which makes me think that she might actually be playing an under the radar game and is rather good at it.




"Death"

Keith is another mystery to me. I hope he picks up his game, otherwise he will follow in Julia's footsteps. "Death" is what Keith needs right now, not the actual act of dying but what the card symbolises. He will require a rebirth from his current non-existant gameplay to really stay in this game. He may want to take things slow and go extremely under the radar, but he is by far one of the least active UTR players which could put him in jeopardy.




"Page of Cups"

I am a huge fan of Kel in the show and in this game. I like the variety that Kel brings to the table. He represents a more subtle, gentle and artistic soul, which was primarily why I labeled him as the "Page of Cups".

I do hope that Kel does well in tribal challenges. He will probably do well playing under the radar as well as socially. He's not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but if he is lucky enough to get in with right group of people, he could potentially win over the bitter jurors.




"Knight of Pentacles"

Laura, Laura... She seems confident and is unafraid to state her opinion. However, I do think that it is biting her in the back since most players are not too optimistic about her. She tends to come across as someone trying too hard.

The "Knight of Pentacles" describes her will and hardworking ethics, which she may not be rewarded for all the time. If she could make it passed the pre-merge, she could go far. But I doubt that she would since most players will be looking to get rid of those whom they think are bossy at the beginning of the game.




"The Chariot"

Pete, my sexy exotic Russian beauty. He will probably be viewed as more of a strategic threat. I wouldn't be surprise if he heads his alliance and gets backstabbed along the way for having too much control over the game.

His tarot card is "The Chariot" which reflects his bulldozer approach to the game. He has positioned himself as one of the clear-cut leaders of this game and isn't afraid to show it. People will probably turn to him for advices. He might be someone who will get taken out somewhere mid-game.




"The Hanged Man"

Both Carlos and I were a little wary about Shii Ann because she tends to disappear after sign-ups and check-ins in past games. It seems to me that she is doing the same thing here. Unless she comes back and make a wave, I highly doubt that she will survive the first couple of rounds.

"The Hanged Man" signifies her suspended activity in the game and she will only be waiting for her "death" in slow inactivity.




"The High Priestess"

I think Sierra is smart enough to make it far in this game, but I am not sure if she could make it all the way to the end with the cast that we have. She wouldn't have much of a problem masking herself amongst the bigger characters of this season. There is always bigger fish to fry. However, when it comes to take out jury-threats, I think that we have an experienced enough cast who will label Sierra as a threat going into the Final Tribal Council.

"The High Priestess" is someone who gathers information to be used in future, whilst remaining calm. I think that she is grounded enough to fit that role.




"The Sun"

While Alex is doing a poor job convincing others of the character he's trying to portray, Tarzan on the other hand is doing a lot better. He has gotten into the good grace with a few other players and has received a few alliance offers. However, I am not sure how long will his charm last, and people may start finding him annoying once his tricks get old.

"The Sun" reflects Tarzan's sunny deposition in this game. He brings smiles and entertainment to many whom he has spoken to. His confessionals are colourful to say the least, but I don't see him making it all the way to the end.




"Page of Wands"

Zane seems to be someone rather inexperienced and that could work both ways. If he plays his cards well, he will be able to convince people of his innocence and loyalty, but if he doesn't, he will most probably find himself at receiving end of a blindside.

Being in a game with his brother Chris may give him a little protection in the beginning, but Chris does seem to have a certain level of distrust towards Zane, perhaps due to his brother's more happy-go-lucky and easy-going personality. The "Page of Wands" refers to someone who is rather new and inexperience, yet faithful. It will be interesting to see how will this brother-dynamic affect the game.
