Well, I just cast my vote for Sierra. Tarzan and Laura also agreed that Sierra should be the vote. I feel really badly, because I do genuinely like her, but that's just the way the cookie crumbles. On a personal level, at this point in the game where strategy isn't as applicable because our tribe is literally just being picked off, I don't think I could have voted for Laura or Tarzan. I'm trying to play a loyal game, hence my fuss about the Pete vote, so to do anything else here would oppose said mindset.

Going forward, I'll really need to paint an overly dramatic picture for Zane and Julia to get them to flip. I don't really feel comfortable approaching them until the merge is announced, so I am just hoping for corresponding AIM times with those two. It totally makes sense for them to flip. The other four were the first four to go to prison, and have always been doing the most in challenges. They're probably extremely tight because of this, and right now our three (Tarzan, Laura and myself) view those 4 as the core of the alliance. If Zane or Julia want to win, I really think they need to make some kind of move. I'm not sure how hard it will be to convince them, but I am going to start with Zane. In my cast analysis, I wrote about how much I liked him so I think he'll be workable.

My social game is really going to have to climax for this to work. But first, let's see if we even merge.

I can't say I'm very surprised with how the vote went. I fully expected Laura and Tarzan to stay loyal and they did. Now it definitely seems like we're going into the merge, and I have no idea how we're going to play out of this. I want to start talking to Zane already, but I feel like being too proactive will just make me a target. Not that there's many places to hide when you're one of three people who are going to be targeted.

Anyway, I'd just feel better about it if I started talking to him once the merge is announced. If Zane does flip, I really would consider taking him to the end over Laura/Tarzan. I feel like my social and strategic game pre-merge speaks for itself. I made it to the final 3 of my tribe and have no votes against me still. I was definitely well-integrated, and well-aligned. I don't know how I'll fare in the merge, but I think I'll have a compelling case if I make the end of the game, regardless of how it happens. Just getting there is going to be super tough.

Anyway, tomorrow's the auction and I'm going to be going for immunities, extra votes, and/or challenge advantages. I definitely want something that's going to keep me here, in the game.

We'll see what happens. For now, I'm just waiting for the merge to be announced.

Oh, and also, if I had to choose between Laura and Tarzan I would have to choose Tarzan. We were aligned first and I really want to stick to that.

Well that sucked. It sucked so much. I got a fake idol (at least everyone knows I have something) and Laura got nothing, and Tarzan got the dud item. Kel and Jeff have items that I don't know what they are, and one of them probably has a key that opens any chest. It's just annoying that we got the worst fates in the entire auction. I don't really give a shit about Ashley's advantage, nor Zane's immunity (though I'd have liked Zane's,) but it just sucks that what happened, happened.

We definitely need to step it up socially if we want to make any headway. I do think that Chris is a central player on the other tribe, and can keep the target off of me for at least the first round. Though I'll run into a lot of trouble if Tarzan wins immunity. Regardless, I am not going to consider myself out until my torch is snuffed. I will be fighting until that moment!

and that way, if i were to play my ido, the vote would be 3-3-0, and then in the revote an original elaenia would still leave

Okay I know that thing is long as hell but it's really important. I JUST FLIPPED ZANE. I can give you the sparknotes version, though!

Basically, I convinced Zane to flip. We are assuming that the original Vireo 6 are going to split votes, so it only takes one to flip to make the vote 4-3-2. In order to give him additional incentive, I told him I would give him my idol that is REAL (it's not it's fake) and he would be safe next round for sure. He seems to be a more simple minded player that just wants safety, where I couldn't give a shit for safety. I am here to win, not to make it round by round. Plus I'm already at jury so I don't really give a shit about if my placement is 9th or 7th. I want to make moves.

Anyway, he's going to flip and we're going to vote out presumably Ashley. Once she's gone, we are going to paint a picture to Julia that the three boys would go to the end together so it's smarter to flip to us. If we can manage to take out Ashley this round, and one of Chris/Kel/Jeff next round we'll be in such a good position.

If this works I am going to flip my lid. I really want to go to the end with several people but I expect something to get fucked up in that time. Julia would be so easy to beat but I'd almost rather go with more deserving people, since I owe it more to Zane, Julia and Tarzan. I am so glad that Zane realizes his position and is going to flip

Going to bed tonight, I feel really good about this plan. I know that results are far off and they may not even split the vote, but it's something. It's better than 6 hours ago. It's a plan. I really do trust Zane right now and he seems super genuine. If he's duping me then so be it. I am duping him with the idol being fake, and karma's a bitch, so you never know.

Either way, I am happy I"m making the play. This isn't Laura's or Tarzan's, this is mine. I am ready to own it and I feel good about it. I want to win so badly, but this plan needs to go over smoothly in order for it to work. If not, then I will definitely be screwed. Oh well. The game rewards big moves and if this works, I will actually cry. Here's hoping!

I'm really trying to make Chris think that I am playing the idol on myself. I'm not sure if they'll split votes or not, but I need to make sure I'm in close contact with him.

I actually just talked to Chris, and he kind of wants Julia to go. I did some alias dropping (sorry Ashley, but you told Julia(Kat) who I was so this is just retribution.) Chris thinks that Jeff is Kiwi anyway, so that would put him and Ashley together. Lump Julia the lifeless vote slave in with that and it's a pretty deadly trio. Best move by far for anyone is for one of them to leave.

Anyway, Chris is going to tell me if they're splitting, because then we will supposedly shift the target to Julia. We're not gonna spoiler alert. Anyway, I am definitely promoting the split with him and he's going to keep the vote off of me. It's all working out pretty nicely for me. If Ashley does go then I'll have some explaining to do to Chris, but he'll at least see that it was better for his game. His numbers can stick together next round and maybe take out Tarzan for good? Then we can figure out something more concrete at 7. At this point I'm fine playing with whoever I have to. I feel I have guaranteed my safety for this round, I just need to be careful for future rounds. I can't let the people go that are protecting me.

The best case scenario is that Ashley goes this round and Julia stays away. Then she'll self vote next round and be removed, and we'll have majority and can take out Jeff/Kel. Obviously that's a lot of wishful thinking but I do think I've set myself up nicely this round. Of course, if Zane is a rat then Chris is just bullshitting me and I'm 100% fucked. Should be fun!

Anyway, I basically outed Ashley's alias to Chris, and I did that the other day. I wanted to start creating a rift between them. Then just now I started talking to Ashley and told her my idol was fake and I would pass it to her if I could. I am going to screenshot it to her and show her that it's a fake one.

I currently have Zane, Chris and Ashley all saying they will try and keep me here. I almost want to just go and hope that Tarzan will have a shot to make the end but I don't think so. He'll be seen as a threat too much, and Laura would be the last standing member. If I stay, I do think I can stay again over Laura.

I'm sure Jeff wants me out because he's a douche. Kel is a drone and Julia isn't around enough to have an opinion. This kind of sucks but it is what it is. I pleaded my case to 3 people who I thought would help me stay, and now I have to lay low. I can't be seen as too much of a social/strategic threat. There's a line I have to walk.

Yay! I survived! I didn't want to campaign against Tarzan, so I just made moves to make myself feel like a lesser target. I do feel really awfully about it, but I would have never written his name down in this game. He was my first ally and I'm going to avenge him now. I can't wait to slice all of these Vireo people.

This round, the sweet, girl next door Allie is coming out. Meanwhile, Laura is taking information from Zane and using it to throw him under the bus to Jeff. I am not worried about winning immunity. I am just going to fortify my relationship with all of Vireo, and let Laura self-destruct. I know that Chris wants to flip soon, and really nothing I do is going to change that. I might as well bank on him not flipping. The better my behavior is, the easier of a time it will be for him to keep me around.

This round I am laying super, super low. Obviously, if people want to make a move I will go for it. However, I won't be suggesting anything. I just feel it isn't my time to do anything. Allie is relaxed for this round; I have to let the wind carry me.

Let's start with the end of the challenge...

That sucks! I was so pissed that I was so close to winning. I even got my tie breaker correct! It just sucks that the girl who's never around, and the girl who's supposed to be voted out next, have the best read on the game? like wtf??

Anyway, shortly after losing I am approached by Chris. Somehow, my strategy of laying low and hoping someone will approach me works! He tells me that Jeff has his idol, and he wants to boot him. Glorious! I hate Jeff because he's a douche and things, so I was all for this plan.

Chris and I were a tad leery of Laura, because she has been feeding Jeff info about Zane. Chris was annoyed by this a bit, but I totally respect it. Laura was just taking initiative and trying to get someone out of the game who clearly wasn't going to work with us. I don't blame her for that at all.

Anyway, the plan is this. The boys of Vireo are voting for me, and the girls of Vireo are voting for Laura. So the vote split would be 4-2, just in case my idol is real. That way, they don't have to deal with the revote. However! Chris and Zane are flipping. Laura, Chris, Zane and myself are ostensibly voting for Jeff, and he should leave, idol in pocket. I wouldn't be surprised at all if either I leave, or Chris managed to get the idol from Jeff while sending him out the door. He wouldn't tell me about it because that would really help him once the numbers get broken down a bit more.

Anyway, I am optimistic for this plan and I think it's the best route I can take at this point. I understand why Zane may not have wanted to make that move alone, but hopefully with Chris' accompaniment, he'll be more inclined to vote with us.

God I would love to finally be on top of something again. I know that I was relatively in control of my pre-merge situation, but this just sucks so much. I feel like I've been on the bottom forever, just knowing we'd be down in numbers for merge. I am not ready to go out yet!

So I talked to Jeff a bit today. He's really key because he has the idol, and he's the one going. I need to, strangely enough, make him think that I'm not safe? It's weird. I basically told him that he would benefit from voting out Zane, because he would still have the numbers on me and Laura, and he would be increasing his odds of making the finale. While this is a legitimate argument, I really didn't want him to take me up on it. I just wanted him to think I was going to him instead of someone else. If he was too paranoid, he might play his idol!

I also talked to Ashley about flipping the vote too. She just seemed uninterested. I'm glad that I have plans with Chris but godamnit these people suck so much. So glad they should be leaving!

The only thing that can really fuck me up at this point is Zane. I can't say I'd be surprised if he did, but God he'd be such an idiot to do so. Gotta take out that idol and a huge power player!
