1. Have you participated in this series in the past? If yes, which season(s) were you in and who did you play as?
I have not. I am, to borrow the phraseology of those much more internet-savvy than myself, a "newbie."
2. What would best describe your role in this game? Will you be the puppet-master, social butterfly, challenge powerhouse, etc?
I'm afraid that I can't profess to know what the future holds, Calvin. At present I am endeavouring to socialize with several folks, in the hope that I can form bonds with them which will come in handy whenever fate intervenes and scatters us to the wind. If that is the normative behaviour of a social lapiz lazuli, then the empirical evidence would suggest that classifying me as such would be a valid supposition. Along a similar vein, I shall expend every effort to be a contributor in the challenges. Whether this will make me a powerhouse remains to be seen, as the houses of my competitors may well be more powerful than mine.
3. Why did you choose to play as the character that you have chosen?
Sheer whimsy, and nothing more.
4. How do you intend to portray your character in this game?
With poignant brushstrokes of characterization which would make the real Tarzan Smith feel an uncanny sense of kinship.
5. What do you think of the other castaways?
I find that I am having great difficulty getting to know some of them. Jed Kent, who I idolize for his great accomplishments in the gruelling field of hitting small balls with wooden sticks, has taken to calling me the King of the English language, and I cannot help but feel as though he does so derisively. Alvin Angarita will only converse with me in Spanish, which seems incredibly lazy on his part. Callie Pohevitz is quite a charming young lady, as is Ashby Trainer. I cannot tell them apart, however, so I hope that I am not on a tribe with both of them. Kane Knight is another good fellow, but he wear blue face paint, which puts me in the mind of that irritating Arrested Development television programme, which I despise.
6. Tell us something that we could expect from you in this game.
I wish that I could, but not even I can profess to know what to expect from me.
7. Tell us one thing that we should know about you.
I am composed of approximately 100 trillion individual cells, all of which have been efficiently designed by random chance to form a fully functional human being. Isn't science marvellous?
