Sorry guys I have been so busy recently but here it is.
First vote for us was easy. Alica sucked so bad. Challenge was a luck-based one if I recall right so not much we could do about that.
Second vote was Bri. A little more complicated and the first testing vote we had (Alicia's certainly wasn't). She caused a bit of a stir but we were able to overcome it. Perhaps the most significant thing to come out of this round was Julia telling Kel that Zane didn't trust him. That has caused a few issues and has led to Kel feeling on the bottom. More on this later. The challenge I can't recall but I remember how useless Kel was.
Next Heidi left. This challenge was pretty fun and we pretty much had it from start to finish. The other tribe, Pete in particular, was absolutely horrible.
Next we had the Eddie vote. This was a very hard vote. We had to weigh the pro's and con's of voting Eddie and Kel. I gave these at the time. Ultimately I sided with keeping Kel. Zane was pro-voting Kel.
Then we had the mutiny and double vote. Alex swapped to our tribe, which I believe was the best move for him given Pete told him he was going. We loosely tried to get Keith to join us. Ashley had some cross-tribal thing with him which I will get to later when I discuss alliances. So we had the challenge. I had 3 lives so was a pretty good chance to win. And I ultimately won. It got down to me/Kel/Chris/Ash. I knew Chris and Ash were fine with me winning but Kel would be the issue. In particular as he was on the chopping block and knew it (kind of). We were in a chat discussing the challenge and how to end it (Kel set it up) and I said the four in the chat should create an alliance for whatever reasons I gave. Ash/Chris/Me had already been talking about a fake alliance and I seized the initiative at what seemed the best time. Kel was extremely happy and seemingly, finally, in a safe position. And then the vote happened.
Despite the alliance, there were pro's and con's to weigh up and Kel was far from safe. The Kel fake alliance was just a precaution if we were to keep him. So anyway here is what the issues were:
Alex
+ Hated Pete.
+ Disliked the other tribe, but not so much as his hate for Pete.
- Could we really trust him? Its hard to say.
- Chance Pete would go as Keith was going to target him.
Kel
+ Ashley and to a lesser degree, me, are close to him.
+ He has put a lot of passion and energy into this game. Highly committed. I would not say this is a strong reason but I am not so heartless.
+ Vireo original.
+ Would make the Fantastic Five alliance remain hidden.
- Chris was worried of a bond with Julia. I am not sure on this.
- Did he actually believe in the fake alliance?
There were probably more but I can't recall them all now.
So we sided with Kel. I felt it had a good long term benefit if a chance of risk. Challenges weren't a consideration just who would be best as a number. The really bad thing from this vote was Chris told Alex to vote Kel... And Kel knows and doesn't trust Chris any more. I am not sure why Chris did that. Kel hasn't even confronted Chris just tells me (and more so Ashley) about it.
Its funny how much I was hating this tribe after this first two challenges and how our tribe was preparing for being in the minority and then we have a huge turnaround! I am very glad we got rid of Eddie as that could have made this situation a lot more complicated.
Now a look at those remaining:
Allie - Allie and I talked quite a bit in the first few days but it really died down after that. She talked to me once about the whole prison thing trying to get information out of me and she wasn't even trying to be subtle about it. She looked to be a big target/threat for the game but it has really died out.
Laura - By far, the person I am closest to on the other tribe. We talk most days but unfortunately I am pretty comfortable with the tribe alliance/Fantastic Five. I get a long with her very very well and I wish she was on my tribe/we got to work before a merge. Assuming we merge. I could use her as a backdoor and I also hope it protects me from being targeted. She thinks she should be safe and I hope so too.
Sierra - I have barely talked to her. The most I have interacted with her was when Keith set her up to be eliminated in the dodgeball challenge. I expect she will go this round.
Tarzan - Hmm well he is in a pickle. He went around to quite a few people in our tribe telling them they were on the bottom. Lol. He based it off the prison stuff but I am not sure if that shows the whole story. He also claimed that the girls on his tribe have a girls alliance. I don't think this is true at all so look forward to him being exposed. He never approached me however. With my tribe I have painted a target on him as someone who needs to go early. He is a trouble maker and those people need to be eliminated.
