SO, we lost the challenge. Not particularly surprised. It was tough to predict who could possibly win or lose that one. I was however very surprised that I won my heat. I thought for sure I would've lost by choosing to move east at the start. They must've messed up pretty badly to be 10 moves behind. Glad I was able to pull out that win
First Tribal time. I would've liked to send the other tribe, but going to TC isn't horrible at this stage. It helps solidify bonds and alliances when you start getting into vote talk and all that. Unfortunately like I said, I wasn't around during those first few hours. I would've liked to be there to continue to bond with the group in our chat and all that, but no biggie. I got on soon after and confirmed with everyone that the vote was Alicia. I'd be shocked if something funky happened with this vote
Continued to connect more with Jeff last night. We see eye to eye on a lot of things, which helps so much as far as working together goes. We talked a bit about cross tribal stuff. He said he keeps in touch with Alex and Pete, which I need to keep note of. He also said he doesn't talk much with those top two on the tribe, Tarzan and Allie. I'm glad. I was a bit concerned that people from my tribe would have bonded with either of them from before we got tribes, and would possibly ditch us for them at a swap or merge. Luckily, Jeff doesn't seem to be one of them. It's so hard to tell though. Jeff could be super close with Allie and could've been seeing what I thought about her or whatever. I was fairly open with him when he asked, but tried to be kinda subtle at the same time. I told him that I liked Allie but I feel like she already has a good amount of friends, and he agreed.
Finally caught Julia on last night too. I hadn't talked to her since before tribes were picked. Apparently she's from New Zealand so we have completely opposite online times. Very quickly into the conversation, she mentioned wanting to work with the first four people she picked. Her, myself, Jeff, Ashley, Zane. I talked with Ashley later and she said that her and Julia had already talked about it too. Seems like all five are pretty much on board. My only worry is that any of the five could be tight with Eddie or Kel, which means they'd tell Eddie or Kel about the group of five. Then those two would be angry that they're not in it and that wouldn't be good. I want those five to be the core but I wanna keep it open to include Eddie and Kel. I'm trying to stay connected with those two just as much as the five, so they don't flip on me later on. As I'm typing this, Eddie and I are aligning based on the fact that we both wake up late in the day and are lazy....it's a start! |

Everytime I smite Laura and get her to -1, she seems to get a buddy from her tribe to bump her back to 0 or 1. It's pretty funny
I'm gonna smite Keith from now on instead. He was picked last for that tribe. No one really wanted him it seems. I want him to think that he's disliked over there and doesn't really fit in. He must already be a bit worried since he was picked last. If he sees his karma start to drop then he might get paranoid about his position. Karma's so silly to base anything off of but I love toying with it |

Vote went as expected. Alicia's gone, life moves on. Only one thing was strange...  THIS! There's no way this is Alicia's vote. It's not a bootlist vote, and she hasn't been on the board. I assume she had a self vote that wasn't shown. Sooo...whose vote is it! And why. There's only a few explanations Clearly Alicia was going no matter what. Since it was such an incredibly straightforward vote, someone must have decided to toss their vote away and vote for Kel. One explanation is that they truly do hate Kel and want him to go to hell. As far as I'm aware, no one dislikes him that much. We just find him weird. It makes the most sense to me that someone decided to vote Kel to make him paranoid, and plant a few seeds of distrust and chaos within the tribe. It's the most logical thing to me. Right now, the person who stands to benefit the most from something like that would be Brianna IMO. If she's worried that she's next to go (rightfully so), then maybe she decided to put this vote on Kel to cause this distrust and confusion. Maybe to get a reaction out of Kel and get him to start confronting people about it or something, digging his own grave. It's something small that can have a big snowball effect, and it could buy Brianna a few more days. If it was her and it works out, props to her. Other explanation is just that someone was dicking around and had zero reasoning behind it. It could've even been Kel himself! He's a weird enough guy to do it. Jeff told me that he didn't even make a parchment. That's...a little fishy. Jeff is definitely super into this game, and he's always active. Why not make a parchment at our first TC? Doesn't make too much sense. Who knows really. None of this is a huge deal to me or my game, but I wanted to cover it. OTHER THINGS! Narnia Prison or whatever it's called. That's interesting. It must have something to do with HII's. Whether it's other prizes as well, I have no idea. You can only go once before the merge. Allie went first. That's a big concerning. If you can only go once, it's likely possible to get on your first try, not something you would need more and more clues for over time or something. Allie could very well have an Idol right now. That makes me nervous. Hopefully it's difficult to get this early and it stays out of her hands. The last quick update is that a new tribe blast chat was formed tonight. The group chat is called "Super Six", which is a stupid name and I'm ashamed to be apart of it. The alliance consists of myself, Julia, Jeff, Zane, Eddie, and Ashley. The six of us are in that chat, and the six of us plus Brianna/Kel are in a tribe chat going at the same time. The point of the chat is to make this alliance between the six official, which we've all been beating around the bush about doing, so it's about time. It'll be nice to start really talking strategy with the group. HOPEFULLY the other two don't find out about this. I don't see how they could unless we have a mole in our midst. Challenge seems like we'll be building a fire like, every hour on the hour or something. Hopefully my tribe steps it up. The other tribe might be slightly more active on AIM and stuff, which worries me. Gotta get this win and start sending the others to TC |

Sooo this is a nightmare! We're not gonna win this challenge. I HATE TO DESPAIR but we're not. People aren't getting on the same page at all as far as start time. It's getting super annoying.
We should've started last night. We might be starting at like, 9 tonight, but I have to host my SI Auction at 9, but I can't exactly tell people that (:
We've had 27 hours to do this one hour challenge, and there's only a one hour span that I'm busy with something else, and that's when we're gonna end up doing it. FIGURES!
It's been pretty aggravating. I want to beat the other tribe real bad, but I feel like it's not gonna happen at this point. What a bummer!
At least voting people out is fun. But these losses will add up and hurt me down the line number wise |

Uh ohhh I just lied to half my tribe and am about to fake unavailability for this challenge. I gotta run the auction. SORRY GUYS! Shouldn't have waited so damn long. Hopefully Eddie shows up and takes my place as the fifth. They better not try to pin this loss on me, because I've been around all day waiting for people, and almost no one could be around at certain times.

lol I just found out that with my linked screen names, when I sign off of my Chris one, it signs off of my main too. Like, I knew it signed off my main, but I thought since I was constantly logged onto my main through my phone, it wouldn't show people that my main was signed off. NOT THE CASE!
My alias is so shit at this point, and I'm growing increasingly paranoid that Jeff is someone I know. I HATE ALIAS! I wouldn't care so much, but with Zane in the game it could put a huuuge target on my back if/when people realize we're both in this. Meh.
Oh also we lost and I haven't talked to anyone about the vote yet. Uh oh! |
