Things I have told people that I need to remember for later: 17 Older brother is in college Live in Kentucky (near Louisville) In high school Cast list: Alex - Spoke, nice guy. From Madrid, and says english is kind of tricky for him. Waiter at his brothers restaurant. Alicia - spoke briefly, she had to work in the morning. Good convo, lives in Toronto. Allie - Starting college (journalism) in the fall, will definitely be a social threat Chris - Like Chris, easy convo for the most part, but gosh they are tough to keep convos going with at this point in the game. Eddie - We spoke for a while, very easy to talk to, and felt like we connected ok. Heidi - Liked talking to Heidi, was a good convo. Jeff - Decent convo, not around as much as some of the others but got the chance to speak a bit. Julia - Julia seems fun, need to talk more but she was watching a show or something so answers were like 10 minutes later at times. Not the ideal way to meet someone but I'll give it some time. Keith - Spoke briefly. Easy convo, went well. Hope he didn't realize who I was  Kel - Really like talking to Kel, hopefully he's on the same page (says he is) but never know. The early game chats are tough and kind of suck because you know they are mostly saying it's such a boring convo. I guess it sort of is, but you have to get past this part to figure out who you want to actually work with. Based on these early convos, I would say Kel is definitely one of those. Laura - Nice person, spoke about being from same season, and that we'd make sure Samoa respresented well. Not sure there is anything to that but oh well. Monica - n/a Pete - Advisor at Florida university, studying for masters. Lives in Tampa (? need to double check that) Decent convo, easy enough to talk to. Shii Ann - Haven't seen her on aim yet, going to send a pm soon just to make contact. Sierra - Chatted for a while last night, went pretty well. Tarzan - Interesting and fun to talk to. Very much in character which will make connecting or making alliances Zane - somewhat difficult to talk to, seems nice enough. Brenda- replaced Monica, know who she is from another game. Not played together but pw in a game and I think she would be a good ally for me. Fingers crossed that we can make some sort of alliance. |

I'm sorry  I'll spare you any further disappointment, none of those other details are true either. It's basically just a big list of lies. I posted them there so I wouldn't forget what lies I had told, since I am actually a pretty awful liar. |

Are you particularly worried about how the tribe will be divided?
Which tribe do you think you will end up on based on your interactions with the captains?

I'm pretty happy with the results. I wasn't really sure I wanted to win that challenge. There will be a lot of potential to make enemies if you are picking people that you want vs people you don't want. Publicly ranking people you have talked to for only a few days can be tricky. There is also the risk of a twist to that pick, like swapping the captains tribes at the end or things that could just be suicide. I did however want to do well and prove my worth so to speak, so that when they were picking they would see me as a strong competitor for their tribe.
Are you particularly worried about how the tribe will be divided?
I think the only way it will be an issue is if there are people who are together/know each other and all get on a tribe together. If that happens, I guess there really isn't a lot that could have been done about it anyway and you might as well just enjoy the game while your time lasts.

I believe Julia may have given me friend points, but I also know that she could have just as easily told everyone that and no one would know if she did or didn't. Based on my time, it looks like at least 4 did give me friend credit which is a good feeling. I always feel pretty unsure about things at the beginning of games, so knowing 4 thought to give me friend points is encouraging.
Tarzan and I have gotten to chat on a few occasions and I feel like we get along pretty well actually. He's in character which makes establishing trust a little bit trickier, but I really would like to see how that would go. He seemed to talk like he would pick me for his tribe so we'll see.
I'm very curious to see what allies/enemies are shown with the picking of tribes.

Woohoo! Got the blue chest And Allie apparently has the blue key. Any guesses how soon I'll hear from her? I've only heard from Pete (when he threw the dodgeball at me) and Keith since tribes split. |
