   Welcome to your first immunity challenge! I bet you are wondering whether you are going to land on the red mat or the blue mat. Hopefully you have spent a little bit of time getting to know the other 17 people in this game because in this game loyalty is going to be of the utmost importance and trusting people, or getting people to trust you is going to be the difference between winning this game and seeing your torch snuffed. Now onto your first challenge...  This challenge will be individual and completed in sessions. You will contact me on AIM at cbsurvivor and I will allow you to see a board. Inside the board will be instructions on how to search for a key. The process involves typing in a couple of characters along with two variable numbers in hopes of finding a key. If you correctly type in the correct key number than an image of a key will appear with a number (1-4) on it. Once you find all four key you will have head towards the cell door, which is a password protected board. The password is the numbers that were required to find a key in the order from 1 to 4 of the key that was produced. For example if the variable numbers were "44" and that produced key number three, the third set of numbers in the password would be 44. The entire password will be eight digits long. Once you are in the board you will find a series of letters. You must unscramble the letters to form a phrase. Your time stops when you tell me the phrase through AIM. That is not all though! In Prison you have friends and you have enemies. After completing the challenge you will give me four names, two friends and two enemies. The friends will have fifteen seconds removed from their total time and the enemies will have fifteen seconds added to their total time. Will you help out people you would like to see be captain? Or try to become captain yourself by making the people you consider the strongest your enemies? The top two finishers will win immunity at their tribes first tribal council and be tasked with choosing the two tribes. Now if you are thinking "I have no chance in winning this challenge I am just not going to try," I would suggest changing your attitude. The individual positions in this challenge will play a factor later in this round. Because of the fact I am sure all of you want to know your tribes and get the real game started I am going to try to be strict with the 24 hour deadline. The only time I will not be on is from approx 3 AM EST tonight and 1 PM EST tomorrow. If for whatever reason this is the only time you are available let me know and we will figure something out. Also for the tribe picks if you are unable to be around tomorrow night to do a live tribe selection (or even if you are and want to play it safe) please leave a boot list for tribal selections. An immunity necklace, and getting to choose your tribe is that worth playing for? Survivors Ready? GO!  The results are in...   Did not compete. Heidi discussed a reason with me so that is okay. As for Shii Ann and Alicia they will be in danger of being removed if they do not show up for the first challenge. Here are the rest of the times from Worst to Best.  40 minutes and 2 seconds  39 minutes and 57 seconds  34 minutes and 1 second  29 minutes and 29 seconds  28 minutes and 52 seconds  25 minutes and 19 seconds  19 minutes and 5 seconds  18 minutes and 49 seconds  17 minutes and 25 seconds  13 minutes and 24 seconds  11 minutes and 59 seconds  11 minutes and 24 seconds That leaves Tarzan, Allie and Julia. The first captain with a time of 3 minutes and 55 seconds...   Julia got a time of 8 minutes and 52 seconds... Did Allie beat that? NOPE!  8 minutes and 56 seconds.   Julia will be the captain of Vireo!Tarzan will be the captain of Elaenia!I have talked to both and Julia and Tarzan and the picking will commence some time around 11 pm EST. First thing first lets take a look at the new tribes. The mutinies have been taken into effect...  Nothing Changed. Very interesting. You all feel comfortable with where you are on your tribe. Sucks for the couple of you that aren't! We will see what happens when you go to tribal. Now lets take a look at what you are playing for...  Immunity is the one thing that will keep you safe in the game. Without it you are in danger of going home.  For this challenge you will each pair up with someone on your tribe to try to navigate through a maze. It is important you make the groups as quickly as possible so you can start the maze portion of the challenge.  This is what a maze will look like. There will be a chest and a key visibly shown on the maze. You will also know where you and your partner are located. However you will be blindfolded so you will not know where the walls are! You will be given the directions that you can travel (North, South, East, and West) and each time you move in one direction it will count as a move. To move in the maze you must post ##moves (direction). In order to make sure I don't move you when you aren't intending it you must use this notation. Any other posts will assumed to be be strategy. You must collect the chest, key, and reunite with your partner to complete the challenge. The pair that does so in the least amount of moves scores a point for their tribe. Since there are four groups if the score is split 2-2 the tiebreaker will be the least total amount of moves. On the off chance that one group does not finish they will get twice the score of their opponents so try your best to finish. Me and Cate will try our best to update your moves as soon as possible. I would like this to only last 24 hours but will extend it an hour or two if pairs are still finishing up. The ninth person in the challenge will be the overseer. They will have access to all four mazes and can help make strategies with those who struggle with mazes. They do not contribute to the score at all. Please post your pairs (in your camp) as soon as possible so I can set up the boards in your tribe camp. The Winners will not only get Immunity but also a special prize that will be revealed at the conclusion of the challenge. For the losers they will be going to tribal council where the first person will be voted off the Island... Survivors Ready? GO! |

          Welcome to your first tribal council. I'll be honest with you, I am sure this is a very easy tribal council. Should eight of you vote, I will post results early. Then again it is your tribe you are free to do whatever you want. Who is your favorite person on this tribe and why? Ashley, Do you think people are making alliances for future rounds or just one round at a time? What are you doing? Brainna, As a replacement what are you doing to ensure you are not on the chopping block? Do you think it is working? Chris, The challenge was a close one but a loss none the less, what do you have to do to ensure you don't lose the next one? How worried are you that you could lose two straight? Come on in guys!  Elaenia, getting your first look at the new Vireo tribe. Alicia voted off at the last tribal council. Allie has also returned from the Noronha Prison. Immunity is back up for grabs!  This challenge will involve making as many fires as you can during a one hour period. There will be an official challenge two thread in your camp. Do not until you are for sure ready to start the challenge as your time will start when the first post is made. After that post you will have exactly one hour (so if you start at 1:03 any post made after 2:02 will not count). How do you make fires? Making a fire involves five steps, each of with must be posted by a different member of your tribe. The five steps are... Now to make things interesting. You cannot use the same combination of people to produce a fire more than once in the span of the challenge. For example if RC posts the logs, Rory posts the flint, Tina posts the machete, Danni posts the Blow, and Richard posts the fire. The next fire they make cannot have that order of people making the fire. So RC could post the flint, and Rory could post the logs, or Joel could step in and post the machete instead of Tina, but they could never go RC, Rory, Tina, Danni, Richard for the entire hour. This will require your team to communicate throughout the hour and not simply spam post for an hour. You have until 10 pm EST tomorrow to start the challenge. If for whatever your tribe hasn't started yet that is when your time will start. The tribe that makes the most valid fires in one hour will win immunity. They will also send someone to the Prison so discuss who you would want to send as well. Allie cannot go again. Elaenia you have one extra member you are sitting someone out. Please make that clear before you start the challenge. Survivors Ready? GO! |
