Welcome to tribal council, and your first as a merged tribe. Allie, coming from a minority tribe of 3, your performance in the challenge wasn't spectacular. Disconcerned that it might be you tonight? Ashley, how's the new tribe coming along? Chris, you were one of only two people who did not participate in the challenge. Is it a strategic move to get the target off your back, or are you just feeling comfortable that you will not be the one voted out tonight? Jeff, from losing back-to-back challenges to ending up merging with 6 original Vireos compared to 3 original Elaenias. How much has the game shifted for you and how are you basing your vote on? Julia, are you even here? You did not participate in the Auction or the individual immunity challenge, and on top of that you were sat out twice by Vireo. Kel, first off congratulations. Any thoughts on how the auction prizes may come into play during this tribal council? Laura, you were the only former-Elaenia who put decent effort into this challenge. Are you worried of being branded a threat and getting the boot? Tarzan, how's the weather? And has the tribe come to a consensus on what the merged tribe will be named? Zane, congratulations as well in the auction and with your immunity. Do you have a plan coming into the merge? Tribal Council will last approximately 24 hours... In this span you must submit your vote (the ballot is in your confessional) and also answer your question. If you do not vote you will receive a self vote (unless you have a boot list). 2 total self votes and you may be removed. Votes are due at 9:00 PM EST tomorrow. Good Luck!

Well I am really busy right now. Plus I know that even if I get votes, I have a way to be safe. So I don't feel that I needed immunity this round.

The game shifted massively in our favour... we were very worried of merging as a minority. I guess its a range of things but loyalty is the biggest factor to me.

Are you buying what she said?

I think its pretty clear what Allie is trying to do. I would have to see the idol to believe it.

That would depend, Miss Blanchett, on whether "the weather" refers to the weather I am currently weathering, or whether "weather" refers to a generalized global status quo, as it were.
The weather I am currently situated in is rather calm and balmy, the sky is largely obfuscated by cirrus clouds in the upper stratosphere, yet it remains warm because of their ability to refract surface heat back downwards, resulting in an average temperature of about 74 degrees Farenheit (that is to say, 71 degrees in rural areas, but since the urban "heat island" effect is in play, the temperature in my urban dwelling can be assumed to be three degrees higher).
If you're referring to the planet as a whole, then it is simultaneously cloudy, rainy, snowing, hailing, obscenely hot, bone-chillingly cold, and rather dark in hemispheres which are currently experiencing night.
As regards a consensus, no tribe name has received the support of more than two people. This can hardly be regarded as indicative of the group as a whole, and our name currently appears to be "Merge," which is most amusing from a postmodern metafictive standpoint.

If Allie does have an idol and it manages to negate votes, you are one of the few at risk of being voted out. Isn't that something to at least worry about?

For those from Vireo, this is what it's like in every tribal council with Elaenia. Tarzan, let's face it. You are outnumbered with 3 former Elaenias against 6 former Vireos. How big of a factor do you think that former tribal lines will affect this vote?

Tarzan, let's face it. You are outnumbered with 3 former Elaenias against 6 former Vireos. How big of a factor do you think that former tribal lines will affect this vote? Since Mr. Anderson will likely attempt to intervene if I point out that the question makes little sense as worded, I will assume that the question asks "How big of a factor will former tribal lines be in this vote?" My answer to that question is that I simply have no idea. I am keenly aware that someone had to have been the target should Vireo have lost any one of the challenges that they won, and I am also aware that someone would have been the target from Elaenia had the merge been postponed again. Would it be smart to vote along tribal lines for the person or persons who were on the bottom on Vireo? Absolutely not. Would it be smart to vote along tribal lines for the person who was on the bottom at Elaenia? Absolutely not. But, can those people be counted upon to know that they were at the bottom and act accordingly? That is where the game becomes most afoot.

Zane, congratulations as well in the auction and with your immunity. Do you have a plan coming into the merge?
My plan is to just play my game the way I think will get me further into the game.

Laura, you were the only former-Elaenia who put decent effort into this challenge. Are you worried of being branded a threat and getting the boot?
Of course I'm worried... but if anything I think it proves that I really want to be here. And if they see fit, I think they'll choose my dedication as someone who deserves to be here.
