Welcome to tribal council. Once again you guys are sitting in front of me. Allie, what has happened to this tribe? Going into the mutiny you were up 8-6 and dominating every challenge. What happened? Brenda, you did not seem to pull your weight in the challenge. Are you worried it may be your time or is it strategy? Laura, Keith was a huge challenge competitor. Do you regret voting him off or are you happy that you won't have to face him come merge? Sierra, Vireo destroyed you in this challenge in both aspects. They had 12 more locks on their chest, and had cracked double the amount you had in the live portion. Is it clear that they are not the more dominant tribe? Tarzan, some of your tribe was anticipating a merge this last round. That did not happen. Are you anticipating a merge next round? What happens if it does not happen? Tribal Council will last approximately 24 hours... In this span you must submit your vote (the ballot is in your confessional) and also answer your question. If you do not vote you will receive a self vote (unless you have a boot list). 2 total self votes and you may be removed. Votes are due at 9:00 PM EST tomorrow

I'd be lying if I said Keith and I were not close. I regret voting him out because of this challenge performance... of course based on the targets last round, I'm happy we had someone like Tarzan over Keith.

Is it clear that they are not the more dominant tribe? Of course they are the more dominant tribe now, they have been kicking our butts lately to be totally honest :/! Our tribe has been going down hill since Alex's mutiny thanks to Pete's cockiness & aggressive behaviour, it is what it is, I mean this is survivor it's not always rainbows and butterflies. We've seen a lot of tribes climb to the top after being the weaker tribe. Ugh, we tried though... it just wasn't enough!

In the beginning, this tribe gelled together very well. Once Alex mutinied, we had a double tribal so the numbers were 6-6. As it's been stated, we performed very well at the last challenge, but the other tribe was just better. So we were down 6-5. Now it appears as though one of our members has gone missing. It sucks, to be brutally honest.

Allie and Sierra, what do you four have to do to flip the script back in your favor?

I'm just saying that because he's still around... just kidding. Tarzan is really good at challenges and better than Keith in that aspect. I also think Tarzan gets along with more people than Keith did. Come merge, we didn't know what to think of Keith, but I think all of us believe Tarzan is someone in it for the long hull. Like the rest of us.

Allie and Sierra, what do you four have to do to flip the script back in your favor? We're gonna have to work really hard to find some cracks and take advantage of them, I mean there is definitely someone at the bottom that will be willing to flip! I hope they're not one big happy family cause that will be hard to break

No. It's not next round yet, so the question makes no sense. "Anticipating" is a present infinitive action being done right now, "next round" refers to an event which takes place in the future, so the question makes as much sense as asking, "Are you currently showering next Tuesday?". I cannot be doing something in the present and at a future time simultaneously, excepting some bizarre quantum circumstance in which I was able to transcend the four known dimensions via faster-than-light travel. So, if I were able to be anticipating a merge next round, I might be, but I'm not, so I'm not.
It's a logical tautology. If a merge does not happen, then not a merge will happen.

...No. Not standing for this. "Anticipating" is a present infinitive action being done right now, anticipating present participle of an·tic·i·pate (Verb) Verb 1) Regard as probable; expect or predict. 2) Guess or be aware of (what will happen) and take action in order to be prepared. Your jargon has failed you this time, and dodging a question with it will not be allowed.

Your jargon has failed you this time, and dodging a question with it will not be allowed. Young man(?), I'll have you know that I recently won Immunity for dodging balls for upwards of three hours, so dodging one question is hardly a challenge, especially given that questions technically have no mass and cannot be thrown.* Carlton's question was of the form, "Tarzan, are you [performing X] at [time Y]?" I cannot reliably be said to be presently doing anything at [time Y] in cases where [time Y] does not equal . If you plug in different data points for the bracketed variables, you'll see the truthfulness of the argument. (e.g., the questions "Tarzan, are you [dancing the Charleston] at [the height of the Russian Revolution]?" and "Tarzan, are you [sitting in front of a laptop computer, answering this question] at [Hiroshima, circa 1945]?" would both require a truthful "No," since I am currently not dancing the Charleston, and, though I am sitting in front of a laptop computer, I am doing so several decades after the Hiroshima explosion; only the question "Tarzan, are you [sitting in front of a laptop computer, answering this question using incredibly convoluted literary equations] at ?" would prompt a "Yes.")
If Carlton had phrased the question as, "Tarzan, are you currently anticipating that a merge will take place next round?" then I would have answered quite differently, and with a distinct lack of parentheses.
*save in circumstances in which the questions are spelled out using large rocks, a la the famous "help!" signs created by those stranded on desert islands, or if the question is written on a throwable object, though epistemologically these would generally be considered physical manifestations of an idea, and not the idea itself.

Question to the girls.
Does Tarzan behave similarly (referring to his replies towards Carlos) back in camp or is he just hyped up whenever he's in tribal council?

To answer the first question... what Sierra said. Question to the girls.Does Tarzan behave similarly (referring to his replies towards Carlos) back in camp or is he just hyped up whenever he's in tribal council? What you see is what you get with Tarzan. He's 100% awesome 100% of the time.

There are conspiracy theories that Tarzan's medachlorian count is so high that if we were to vote him out his presence with the force would increase and he more or less would be impossible to get rid of.

Brenda, you did not seem to pull your weight in the challenge. Are you worried it may be your time or is it strategy?
I'm really really sorry guys! I had a really high fever yesterday and I was on the computer very little. I really, really wish I could have helped out more. I think this may be my time to go, to be perfectly honest :/
